Kam's in Hong Kong is famous for their Roast Goose. Sadly their Philippine branches don't carry Roast Goose in the menu. They have Roast Duck; but their duck is not the reason they received a Michelin Star. Nonetheless, their roast duck and crispy pork are satisfying. But what I was more happy eating was their Wonton and Noodle Soup. It took me back to my favorite wonton noodle shop in Tsimshatsui. They were able to get the flavors of Hong Kong as I remembered. The broth, the noodles, and the dumplings were very tasty. Chef's kiss. Inexpensive; but good.

Kam’s Roast is a top-notch restaurant in Hongkong having earned a Michelin Star recognition for 9 consecutive years. The spacious dining area is classy, having a contemporary Chinese design. And it’s also interesting to try food quality. Soya chicken is tender, delicious with a crispy chicken skin. The roasted duck has enough lean meat. It’s savory and melts in your mouth. I loved the tasty, juicy, tender meat of the BBQ pork covered with a delicate honey sauce. Food quality is worth the expensive price. Service is not welcoming but decent.

Grabbed dinner here on a Monday. Place is not packed, had to stay outside because of pet, which is fine. Ordered their famous Roast duck+Soy Chicken Rice. The saltiness and juiciness of duck and chicken blends perfectly well with rice. Overall, their duck is almost as good as cai hok's but I personally prefer the latter. Had the jellyfish w/ sesame oil as appetizer. This is probably the only place that offers jellyfish as appetizer individually. It tastes fine but didn't get to finish it because our main course arrived at the same time. Lastly, we had the wonton soup. Their wantons sucked. May have gotten a bad batch or old batch. Did not enjoy it. I can almost taste the expiration-ness of the wontons. No service tea available but can purchase a pot for Php 65. They have Mango Sago in their menu but was not available at the time due to Unripe mangoes. 😔 Will go back for duck, not for wontons.

The roast is a must try. Truly worth your money. Definitely recommend tasting the BBQ Pork and Crispy Roast Pork. Tasty and tender. It goes well with both rice and plain noodles. Cucumber with chili and garlic is a great side dish. It’s both spicy, sweet, and sour. Definitely is a refreshing taste! Noodles with shrimp roe is bland and has no sauce — just a heads up! Best paired with roast. Service was good and the place is clean. They have an inclusive bathroom which is spacious.

First time dining here at Kam’s roast. We ordered Jasmine hot tea on pot which is good for 2-3 persons, its not too aromatic, and is light tasting. This tea helped in removing that duck taste left in your mouth, and it also helps a lot after eating a filling meal. We also got Jellyfish in Sesame Oil. We enjoyed this and I personally recommend this as an appetizer. I cannot describe well its flavor other than its clean tasting with a hint of the sesame oil. It has this nice mouthfeel and texture, definitely a must try. Third is we got the 3 Meat on top of Braised noodles. For me this is filling and satisfying, on top of the noodles is the duck roast, crunchy pork, and pork bbq. The duck tasted nice, but a bit fatty and oily. The crunchy pork tasted like a typical lechon macau, and the pork bbq tasted like what it should be. Overall, its a nice and filling meal. Their store is spacious and clean, and it has this modern chinese interior look with a little touch of elegant finishes probably to mimic some high end chinese restos. Service was okay, not the most welcoming and courteous crew but A for effort.

Good experience overall. Nice to have a go to place for roast duck cravings! Do love the authentic HK vibe of having the roast ducks on display at the front of the resto. I order the braised noodles with crispy pork and roast duck. Nothing amazing but still really good overall - the duck was very juicy and tender. Plus they refill the condiments - I had hoisen sauce with the crispy pork and a nice light plum sauce with the duck - gave the dish that needed punch. No house tea but their jasmine tea (refillable pot) was good - light and soothing. Service was quick though it was not busy at all, so staff were attentive. Amibence was a bit dark and plain but overall tables were well lit and it was generally clean, so that was fine.
